Proposed Schuylkill River West Trail
This evening trail will follow the route of a proposed trial planned for the west bank of the river from Fairmount Park to Valley Forge National Historic Park.
Walk will begin at 30th Street Station and proceed to Manayunk, where the group will eat dinner and return to 30th Street Station via train.
No limit to number of participants.
This walk is planned in the Schuylkill River Heritage Area Walks series.
All walks are rated as moderately difficult and cost is $30 for full day tours, which includes breakfast, and $20 for evening tours.
A $5 discount is given to members of the Schuylkill River Greenway Association and other environments organizations.

Covenant Hospice of Pottsville and Reading, announces its Spring 2008 Hospice Volunteer Training on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 94 Walnut Road, Tilden Township, Hamburg, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
St. Mary's Church is approximately three miles from Hamburg on Old Route 22.
A popular holiday classic reports that angels earn their wings every time a bell rings.
Hospice Volunteers are earth-bound angels that earn their wings everyday through supporting hospice patients and their families.
This Volunteer Training will provide a comprehensive Angel / Volunteer training that will prepare its attendees for hospice work.
This event will be facilitated in a retreat-like atmosphere; refreshments and lunch will be provided.
