Schuylkill, (pronounced, "skool - kil") County is located in East Central Pennsylvania and is situated just west of the Pocono Mountains and on the northern edge of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country.
While many people know our area as the "Coal Region", and the home to Yuengling, America's Oldest Brewery, Schuylkill County is blessed with outdoor beauty that draws hundreds of thousands to our area every year.
From atop the Blue Mountain, hikers along the Appalachian Trail explore the scenic southern edge of the county. Along the way, these hikers enjoy scenic vistas of the "Endless" Mountains to the north.
